At Lavender Path, I specialise in grief counselling, offering compassionate support for individuals navigating bereavement. This includes pre-bereavement counselling and anticipatory grief support. I can also assist you through significant life losses, such as redundancy or the loss of a beloved pet.
I provide tailored, compassionate care for those coping with loss or preparing for it.
My experience encompasses both personal and professional avenues. Having endured several significant bereavements myself, I approach my work with deep empathy and understanding. Professionally, I have guided many clients through bereavement and pre-bereavement counselling, always with a thoughtful, individualised approach.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a helpline counsellor for a crisis support organisation, offering confidential telephone counselling to individuals experiencing a variety of emotional and personal challenges. This organisation also focuses on trauma aftercare, where my role is to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to discuss their experiences.
I am trained in various counselling modalities, a trauma-informed practitioner, and a certified hypnotherapist, experienced in online and telephone counselling. My specialist training in pre-bereavement and loss allows me to meet clients wherever they are in their journey.
Moreover, I provide specialist pet-bereavement counselling, fully understanding the profound impact of losing a pet and helping you navigate your feelings at your own pace.
As an autistic-informed practitioner, I aim to make counselling accessible and inclusive. I possess strong interpersonal skills and connect well with diverse individuals, respecting each person's unique personality and needs.
Whether you are dealing with complex emotions of grief, such as loneliness, anxiety, anger, or depression, or facing the anticipatory grief of a loved one's decline, I am here to offer compassionate support.
Grief is highly personal, and no two journeys are alike. You don’t have to walk this path alone; I am committed to being by your side, providing empathetic guidance at a pace that feels right for you. Your healing is my priority.
I can support you in finding your path through grief, loss, and pre-bereavement counselling with empathy, warmth, and care.
